About Tempeh
Explore this nutrient-packed tempeh!
Tempeh is a traditional Indonesian food made from fermented soybeans. It’s created by inoculating cooked soybeans with a type of fungus called Rhizopus oligosporus. This fermentation process binds the soybeans into a dense cake-like form. Tempeh has a nutty flavor, a firm texture, and is packed with protein, vitamins, and minerals. It’s a versatile ingredient used in various cuisines worldwide, valued for its nutritional benefits and delicious taste.
Since our establishment in 2015, we have embarked on a culinary expedition, inviting snack enthusiasts in Canada and the USA to savor the diverse tastes of Indonesian cuisine.
Our narrative began with an aspiration to introduce Indonesia’s rich natural resources while bringing positive impacts to small/medium businesses. Today we stand as the destination for indulging in the natural goodness of Indonesian foods.
